Walking on Eggshells (2025) are topological-scapes that abstractly depict lands relevant to my upbringing in the United States in correspondence to my native land of Ecuador.  These topographical and experiential maps stem from a collaborative union between recycled egg carton and maker. Here, I am interested in concepts of nature versus nurture and how a child’s environment and their parental relations affect their adult selves. It is not one’s fault but it is one’s responsibility to perdure and rise above those external factors.
