About me
Cole Solis Jativa is an Ecuadorian interdisciplinary artist with a passionate lens in printmaking, papermaking, book arts, and poetry. Currently she is pursuing an MFA in Printmaking and an MA in Creative Writing at SUNY New Paltz. Environmentally conscious, her mediums hone in on a start-from-scratch mentality. Conceptually, her Latin American background and American upbringing tether the duality of her bilingual and multicultural nature. With this in mind, she embraces the dance between poetry and visuals.
